Backstage · The production suite

Ninety-one tools. One call sheet.

Backstage is the production crew you can't hire — the same suite that runs RMG's own channels every day, licensed to creators and businesses. It covers the whole life of a video, organized by the job you need done, not by technology. You run the show. Backstage is the crew.

Licensing opens with the founding round — prices set, not yet on open sale

Four rooms. Every job covered.

Open Backstage and you don't face a wall of software. You face four rooms, each named for the outcome it delivers.

Room 1 · Make

Make videos

Editing, voice and faces, music, and finished renders — a complete piece, captioned and ready, from your footage, photos, or a voice note. Your brand kit is built in, so you never re-explain your brand.

Room 2 · Publish

Publish safely

Every piece carries its quality and rights checks before it can post — stamps you can see, not chores you do. Nothing has ever gone out without an OK, and a big pause button stops everything instantly when a day needs silence.

Room 3 · Grow

Grow the channel

Cover and title testing, retention repair, trend sensing, and results you can trace — this video brought those calls, counted on your own tracked number, not a vanity metric.

Room 4 · Run the business

Run the business

Scheduling, supply, records, and a plain-language monthly report. Your content vault is yours: assets and exports included, on exit, for any reason. No hostages, ever.

Your week, on one board

Backstage opens on your Week Board — what's on, what's next, what needs your OK. Approve from your phone or by text; approving in either place is the same approval. And when you don't know where something lives, you don't hunt menus:

The Ask bar

Ask for an outcome, not a feature.

Type — or say — what you want done: "Make a video about this week's special." Backstage routes it to the right room, drafts it in your brand, and brings it back for your OK. Your guardrails — posting days, links that must always appear, topics that are off-limits — are enforced before anything can be approved, with one-tap fixes when something's off.

New to it? A guided first session walks you from sign-in to a real post on your own page, in about ten minutes. Made a mistake? Undo and version history are built in. Something breaks? You get a calm plain-language card and a crew member's hands on it — never a raw error.

How licensing works

Step 1

License or trial license

A license — or a trial license — is required to use Backstage. Your license record names the tools your license covers, grouped by job, for your term. You see the tools you're licensed for, nothing else.

Step 2

You own what you make

Every video, audio file, image, caption, schedule, and report you create is yours outright — to use, sell, and keep forever, during and after the term. Ending a license never touches what you already made.

Step 3

The tools stay ours

How the machinery works inside is RMG's craft and stays private — that's what a license means. Your content and data stay confidential, never used for another customer, never sold.

Honest status: license prices are set — Studio Solo $59/mo · Studio Team $119/mo · Studio Multi $229/mo. Trial license: 14 days, 3 finished videos, no card required. The first 5 founding licensees receive 20% off their tier, rate locked for 12 months. Licensing itself still opens with the founding round — founding waitlist members receive the full license record first, before anything is owed.
